Kodak is one of the founding fathers of the photographic industry and during these troubling economic times it's interesting to see what they are up to.
Despite people's love for new gadgets, especially of the digital variety, there's no doubt that the world's imaging industry has taken a hit, but so far has managed to survive.
Imaging, or photography, will never go away, that's a given. That's also why I chose to look at Kodak, a company a little late out of the blocks with digital photography, but venerable enough to have successfully reinvented itself in a highly competitive market.
Big Daddy Kodak is still around and you should have a look at their website and see what they are doing in the field of digital photography.
I took today's picture with my trusty Kodak P880 digital ZLR at the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas. The camera is old but still holds its own.
Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.

I've been wondering the same thing. Just returned from PMA and several people mentioned the "Dump Him" link: www.imaginginsider.com/?p=84914. Interesting that someone went on the attack.
