Tutorial

Summer is starting to wind down but there's still plenty of time to take some digital photos of late season flowers.
Photographing flowers, especially outdoors, which is where you'll find most of them, isn't as easy as people think, but by following a few simple rules it isn't that hard either.
Anyway, what good is life without the occasional challenge, especially when it's not life threatening, and it's basically free.
Remember to use a fast shutter speed when photographing flowers outdoors because the slightest breeze will cause a blur.
OK, that's my only tip for the subject, but this excellent video tutorial will teach you everything you need to know about taking great pictures of flowers.
I took the above photo with my Kodak P880 digital camera in Long Beach, California, during April, 2006.
Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.

I agree, taking photos of flowers is not as easy as it looks. Even with great lightingit can sometimes get very tricky.
