Filed in archive Tutorial by jim on May 2, 2007

This is the companion video to Understanding Shutter Speed.

Aperture and shutterlinks speed are the two controls that are the most basic for all forms of photography, not just digital. A thorough understanding of their use and relationship to each other is necessary for those times when you wish to exercise creative control over your photos.

Drag out your digital camera's owner's manual and check out the "manual", "aperture preferred" and "shutter preferred" modes for more info and stay tuned here for upcoming tutorials on how to use these features effectively.
