Time To Gear Up For Spring Flower Digital Photography

It's never too early to start thinking about and planning the first of your springtime "good weather" photo trips.

This is the time of year when you should be laying out your picture taking itineraries and researching the places you want to go to and the photographic techniques you plan to use.

The great landscape photographer, Ansel Adams, said that the only way to take great pictures was to first envision what you want to see in the final print. Then take into consideration how each step in the process affects the final outcome and adjust accordingly.

First up would be spring's flowers, so start considering likely spots, and deciding on whether you want to capture individual flowers or clusters, e.g.

Here's an interesting article about photographing flowers with a digital camera.

Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.
