The quick answer to that question is yes. Why not store your digital photos online, preferably for free, in a central location.
There are great advantages to online storage such as having all your shots available 24/7, not only for yourself but for all those with whom you want to share.
Everything has a downside though, right, and online digital photo storage has its risks, as are outlined in this excellent article about the dangers of online digital photo storage.
Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.

it\'s better not to believe in technology too much and store your images traditionally - in paper photo albums)

I agree that you can't rely 100 percent on technology. But I still like having my photos available online because then my family can see them since they are all over the country. I have learned to store them online as well as on a backup cd.
