Live from CeBIT: Samsung's SCH-B600 10 megapixel cameraphone - Engadget:
That's getting impressive - 10Megapixel is probably a bit too much - I'd be happy with somewhere around 5, and good optics - but still.
The big thing that impresses me, is that it's a fully functional phone and a good (compact) digital camera - there doesn't seem to be a lot of compromise in either aspect.
OK, so it's not as thin as the Razr (hardly surprising, since they have to have somewhere for the lens to go when it's not in use).
Also: Korean only at the moment, so don't expect to see one in your western stores any time soon - but, it's a good look at the shape of things to come.
Personally, I'm looking forward to it - the camera in my (recently lost) T610 was so poor I never bothered with it - it was just a waste of space. So much so, that then I replaced it (yesterday), I just got the cheapest phone I could find. No camera at all. If I could have got a good compact camera in it, I'd have been prepared to spend a lot more. Until I can, a phone that just makes and takes calls, and I can SMS on is enough for me.
