Samsung is a diversified South Korean company that has come a long way in a short time; and, like most Korean companies, they are working hard to overtake the Japanese in many markets.
With digital camera technology changing on an almost daily basis it's hard to keep up with all the new digital cameras being introduced.
I don't endorse, or have a connection of any sort to any manufacturer of anything, so if I like tell you I like something it's not for economic gain.
Samsung manufactured some high quality film cameras a while back that used vaunted Rolleiflex optics, and they were marketed, successfully, in slightly different versions, under the Samsung and Rolleiflex names.
That impressed me and I suspect that their digital cameras are built with the same level of care and quality as their film cameras.
So when I perused the press release for the new Samsung SL720 digital camera I thought it was worth a look.
The Samsung SL720 Compact Digital Camera sports a 12.2mp digital sensor, a 28-140mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens, and HD video capacity, just to name a few of it's features.
Check it out and see if this digital camera is for you.
Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.
