The Professional Portfolio

While the article is targeted towards Designers, Illustrators and FIne Artists, I don't se why exactly the same set of rules/suggestions/guidelines doesn't follow for Photographers.

Currently, my best work is online - but given that horrendous variance in people's monitorlinks settings, I'd be far better to get a selection of 8x10 glossies done, and shop those around. In any case, no matter how good someone's monitor is, there's something about the way a well printed photo looks that a monitor just can't beat.

Strangely, for some reason, I'd never considered this side of things.

Time to start putting together a real portfolio, I think...
