If you're looking for a forum to showcase your talents and you have a gregarious bent, you may want to enter the "Strangers" contest in the forum section of the digital Photography School. To enter, you need to photograph a stranger sometime between August 8 and 22 and submit the image with EXIF intact to the Latest Assignment section of the School's Web site. The assignment editor for the contest recommends getting some information from your subject-their name and maybe a line or two from them about themselves. Whether you submit that information with your photo or not, the effort is a meaningful one because the reaction of your subject to your request for information will tell you whether or not you should submit the photo in the first place. After all, one man's art is another's invasion of privacy.
