Thomas Hawk's Digital Connection: Photographing Architecture is Still Not a Crime, Police Harrasment at 45 Fremont Street:


OK, so thomas is taking some photos of buildings. According to him, the guy pictured above comes out of one of the buildings, and demands that he stop. When Thomas (rightly) refuses to do so, the guy claims he's a cop (but refuses to show any ID), and assaults (albeit fairly minorly) and threatens Thomas.


Thomas says it all better than I can in the linked post - I'm only really linking this to publicise it a bit more broadly.
