The World Wide Pet Industry Association has just launched a Web site, PetSource.org, and to build traffic to the Netpost it's running a monthly contest that awards prizes for the best photos for the month's theme. In addition to pet products and services as grand prizes, each month $1000 will be donated to the contest winner's local Humane Society or related Animal shelter or protection agency. The theme for the first month is "Pets-They're Just Like Us!" Pet owners can submit photos of their pets participating in everyday activities, such as sleeping in our beds under the covers, watching their favorite sports team on TV or typing away at the computer. You can enter the contest at the new Web site. Winners will be determined by votes cast by visitors to the site.
