Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX1 Review
Leica recently (yesterday or so) announced the D-LUX 2 - apparently a re-badged Panasonic DMZ-LX1.
The point that's most interesting to me is that Leica are targeted at 'Serious Photographers', but for some reason this camera records in a 16:9 aspect ratio, which strikes me as somewhat anomalous.
8.4 megapixels, 28-112mm telephoto lens (35mm equivalent), a good range of shooting modes including fully manual.
I've not yet had the pleasure of using a Leica - but it's on my list of things to try, at some point. If I can buy a Leica, at the price of a Panasonic, well, that's even better.
