The Best Digital SLR For You: Olympus E-330 Guide and Photo Sample.
I was talking with a friend of mine, the other night, about digital cameras (yes, I'm that sort of camera geek), and this camera came to mind. See, this friend of mine, he's a keen amateur astronomer (and it really irks him when you call him an Astrologer, but I always get that wrong, go figure), and he's been keeping his eye on what's around so he can take photos through his astronomy lens. Right now, he's going to go for an attachment for his existing point-and-click, and I agree, that's a good way to start.
However, I know this guy, and he's going to want to upgrade to a 'real' camera at some point. The downside of most current digital SLRs is that you have to peer through the viewfinder, which can be a real pain in the neck (literally!) when the camera's mounted on the underside of a huge lens. So, understandably, he was quite interested to hear about this new Olympus
, a digital SLR with live image preview on the LCD.
What I really look forward to is the next crop of digital SLRs from other vendors - now that one's done it, they're all going to have to...
