Olympus have a habit of making very good cameras, yet going about it in a slightly odd way. The E-30 is no exception; for the price, $1200~, there's not much that can beat it image quality wise, but the vast array of buttons and settings make even the moderately experienced SLR shooter a tad bewildered.
It's definitely worth a consideration if you want to get into the SLR market, and are willing to really learn what every single thing does. Check out a review here.
