Do you like to mix hiking with your photography? Have ever thought of taking a Tripod with you, but the thought of lugging one around in the wild discouraged you from it? Then you should take a look at the TrekPod Go, by Trek Tek. The unit is not only a compact telescoping tripod but it doubles as a monopod and walking stick. In its travel case, the muti-purpose unit is only 23-inches long and weighs just under two pounds at 28 ounces. The hardware, though, will put a good dent in your wallet at $199.

I like traveling but not hiking. So I need a portable tripod for my Canon rebel XT. Any suggestions?
