Lowepro announces SlingShot AW camera bags:

I'm not a fan of backpacks for camera gear; I find them too cumbersome to get on and off in a hurry. So, for years, I've just had a classic old 'sling it over your shoulder' type bag - normally one just big enough to fit all my standard gear in - one body (with my standard lens fitted), one or two more lenses, main flash, portable flash stand, and a range of filters, along with the usual spare memory cards, batteries, cleaning kit, pen, paper, business cards, that sort of thing. As my collection of (vital, honest!) equipment grows, so does my need for appropriate and versatile storage.

Now, I hate that classic photographer look - the beige vest with all the pockets - it's so cliched. The backpack + storage sling + belt bag look is slightly better, but you know, still pretty damned Awful. Lowepro gear looks good enough that I can wear it with a suit (important, when I'm shooting at a formal occasion), but is still realistic enough to be used every day... as long as I can trim down the amount of stuff I 'need' to carry.
