With any new technology comes a raft
of new words and digital photography is no exception. That's why, no doubt, specialty publisher Rocky Nook, of San Francisco, decided to corral some 1500 words, abbreviations and acronyms from the shutterbyte world and put them into The Glossary of Digital Photography ($26.37), by John Blair. According to the publisher, the 350-page gook is "the most comprehensive publication of its kind to date" and "has been extensively researched to collect the terms currently in use and to provide the most up-to-date meanings of these terms."Permalink: Lingua photo
