Tutorial: LineArt from Photos
This isn't the sort of technique I can see myself making a lot of use of - not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just that I can't see when I'm likely to use it, as a photographer. Perhaps, with my web designer/logo maker hat on (hats I don't wear very often, because, frankly they don't fit with me too well) I could use this, but as a photographer? Not so much. Which is a pity, because I really like it. In fact, I like it so much, I had a go and made my own.

I think it takes a certain amount of skill in picking the right image to work from - from the sample images in the tutorial, I'm guessing that things with defined edges work better than ill-defined cats that are poking out their tongues.
