Cameras

Digital cameras are complicated creatures but can still be simple to use and return great results.
Let's face it though, most of us welcome new technology with open arms, and look forward to the latest "gimmicks" to help us take better pictures.
Some examples of recent picture taking aids are anti-shake programming, easily selected metering modes, and automatic macro settings which allowed us to concentrate more on composing our pictures.
Well the features keep on coming and here are some of the latest:
Sony's Cybershot DSC-G1 has wireless technology and a 2GB built in memory.
Canon has introduced a "Live View" LCD, 10 shot per second capability, and built in sensor cleaning on its high end DSLR's. Too rich for my blood, but those of you with the bucks, you haven't been forgotten.
Canon rings in again with, "Blink Shot", technology that can detect a subject whose eyes are blinking. That's spooky.
No new technology here, but Samsung is offering an 8 megapixel camera for $99.44 through Amazon.com! I don't know how good it is but it's worth a look, I guess. Check the net for reviews first though.
And, how about a 7.1 megapixel digital camera with a whopping 28-505mm lens from Olympus.
Nokia has married a 2 megapixel camera to a great looking cell phone with Bluetooth capability. That's cool.
Stay tuned for more goodies.
