Wow, the original Canon Digital Rebel, even at a now modest 6MP, is still a very good camera, and there are many thousands of them around still producing excellent pictures.
However, we're well into the year 2009, and the original Canon Digital Rebel has grown up into what is really a light-duty pro camera, but at a price that's still reasonable.
The latest incarnation is a real workhorse for the dedicated amateur who wants superb quality images, and with a 15.4MP sensor and true 1080p video capabilities, that's what you'll get.
