Kodak has released a plugin for Adobe Photoshop that is aimed at the professional market but will also have wide appeal for amateurs.
As Kodak continues its transition from film to digital photography the company has released several image enhancement plugins for Adobe Photoshop, the graphics program that most professional and serious amateurs rely on to manipulate their images.
The Kodak Digital Gem plugin allow digital photographers, or for that matter film photographers who scan their negatives, to manipulate key elements such as noise, color balance, contrast and exposure, and more. Of particular note to the portrait photographer is the Digital Gem Airbrush plugins that can smooth skin surfaces and perform other miracles.
There are 2 versions of the each of the plugins, a Pro version, and a lighter amateur version.
Here's the link to a thorough press release about the product.
And, this link takes you to the Kodak page where you can download free trial versions.
I took today's picture 2 days ago, of what I guess is a dead cactus. I don't understand how that could have happened out here because there isn't any winterkill, and everything around it was OK, so I guess that rules out poisoning. The plant looks as if it needs to be blown up with air.
