Venerable Kodak seems to be content marketing digital cameras to consumers at varied price points instead of engaging in competition for the attention of pro photographers.
Despite having produced some of the earliest and best DSLRs, and prosumer digital cameras, for their time, Kodak is now concentrating on consumer level compact digital cameras and that's good news.
With Nikon, Canon, Pentax and Olympus producing pro digital cameras of all types, Kodak may be making a shrewd move by concentrating on what started and sustained the company for decades, quality cameras for consumers, at reasonable prices.
Check out Kodak's new 12 megapixel compact digital cameras and see if you agree with me.
Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.
