This camera is so new that it isn't even available until next month but the wait will be worth it.
The details of the how and the why the camera was named "Pen" are in the introduction and provide a bit of a nostalgic trip back to the days when film reigned.
Olympus specialty has always been full featured cameras that are smaller and lighter than the competition; and they have surpassed even themselves with the Pen EP-1.

I’m amateur , but test very high end equipment :

I have about last mount The Olympus EP-1 with adapter for Leica “M”lens and Nikon lens.
I never in 15 years take pictures in much equipments , shot same quality image use EP-1 with Leica “M” 50mm f/2.0-summicron!!YOU DONT BELIEVE !!!!IT’s AMAZING!!!!
