I always like to have a focal point in my pictures; but I take mostly landscape pictures, so what about people pictures, can they have a focal point too?
One would think that the subject is the focal point, and that would be true, but how about drawing attention to a special feature of the person, that would really be a focal point.
Check out this free Adobe tutorial about highlighting eyes in your portraits.
Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.
