Here's an easy, inexpensive, and fun way to get your kids interested in digital photography.
My father got me interested in photography when I was about 5 years old and I never lost interest. The hobby has provided me with countless hours of fun and satisfaction, and, by using my skills I've even managed to pick up a few bucks along the way.
In an era of mega-buck kid's toys here's a modestly priced, robust product designed to be used by even the youngest of kids.
The Fisher-Price digital camera is a way to introduce your child to photography without the fear of having your own camera damaged.
I think it's a good idea to steer a child in the direction of the creative arts at an early age, and digital photography is a safe and easy way to stimulate a kid's imagination. It's also an activity parents can share with their kids by previewing their snapshots on the computer and deciding what went right or wrong and which ones are worthy of printing.
My father took that picture of me in, I think, 1951. He got into trouble with my mother because my hat wasn't on correctly and revealed my unkempt hair.

I loved this photo and the story behind it. My mother came up with the ideas for vacations (all the national and state parks in California for trailer camping) and my father recorded them all in a series of cameras, starting, as I recall with a Voitlander. He's just gone digital at age 81 and His love of photography has rubbed of on me so reading these great posts on Digital Shot is heavenly. A newbie like me and an expert like many of my friends can share the joy of the tips found here. idea: partner with JPEG Magazine, as they have a thoughtful way to attract great photos to their site by publishing the best in a print magazine. - Kare, SavvyHer

Hello Kitty 3.2 Megapixel Children's Digital Camera - you can get a digital camera that a child will think is cool, yet actually takes pictures you can print. This camera is among the best in picture quality among children's digital cameras. It's ultrathin design makes it easy for kids to slide into pockets or backpacks. It also has a big 2-inch LCD screen to delete all those bad shots right in the camera, and it has built-in memory. Kids can then create pictures with Hello Kitty borders, frames and albums with the included software.
