One of the great things about digital photography is the ability to make endless changes to your images, for free, and still retain the photo in its original form so you can always start over.
There are countless ways to correct or simply alter your digital images; but if you're in the mood for something that will transform your digital images into something well beyond the mere dramatic you need to check out "HDR".
"HDR" or "High Dynamic Range" is a process that will yield colors and textures, which while unrealistic, are pleasing to most people who prefer an artsy presentation of a worthy image.
Check out the photo above and if you'd like to create those deeply saturated tones and other effects then read more about High Dynamic Range Digital photography.
Take a camera with you whenever possible, and look around, you'll find a picture somewhere.
