Here's an interesting and thorough video tutorial for Adobe Photoshop users.
This tutorial takes you through the steps necessary to change your subject's hair color to any shade you want.
Aside from the obvious fun you can have with this technique there is a practical use for it as well.
If you've ever wanted to see what you would look like with a different hair color, such as chartreuse or plaid now you can do it at home without actually applying color to your hair.
