Canon EOS-1D Mark II N Announced

Not as many pixels as the also-newly-announced EOS 5D, the EOS 1D MarkII N is also more expensive by a fair wad of cash.

At first glance, this looks like a rather bad deal.

You get a 2.5" LCD, and dual SD/CF card slots, allowing for separate RAW and JPEG storage. The pictures might 'only' (heh) be 8.2 megapixel, but you can shoot 8.5 frames a second - up to 48 in a burst, if you're shooting JPEG (22 if you're shooting RAW).
