Rob Galbraith DPI: Bringing Aperture into focus:

Rob Galbraith has been asking a lot of hard questions of the various contacts they have at Apple, about Apple's new aperturelinks. He and his co-author have managed to extract a lot of relevant information out of these folks on the way the library works, how you can go about archiving your images, and how Aperture is likely to fit into your overall workflow (including year by year turnover).

Well worth the read.
