Beauty Retouching in Photoshop
This is a great, reasonably comprehensive look at retouching portraits in photoshop.
All the women in this chapter are perfect before I touch a pixel. They are smart, charismatic, and incredibly beautifulinside and out. These gorgeous women are human, however, and that is no longer acceptable in today's beauty and fashion world. I am asked to make them superhuman, perfect beyond reality. On the upside, I do love to make beautiful women into super-beautiful women, and that's important because retouching is often the meat and potatoes of the jobs I do
Ranging from removing (or diminishing the visual impact of) wrinkles, whitening teeth, virtual plastic surgery (eye lifts and nose jobs), reshaping eyebrows, extending hair, trimming the waist line a little (couldn't we all do with that?) and dozens more. As I said, comprehensive, and a good place to start off on your retouching work.
