Adobe announces Lightroom:
Not only have they announced it, they've also announced that there will be a public beta of Lightroom starting on January 10th - co-inicdentally (heh), the same day that macworld 2006 opens.
Looks rather like someone's spoiling for a fight, doesn't it?
Also:
"While Aperture's recommended system is a Dual 2.0GHz G5 with 2 GB of RAM, Lightroom counters with a 1GHz G4 with 768MB of RAM"
For those of us who don't have a dual G5 under our desks, that's very good news...
Watch this space, things could get interesting...
