Add color splash to your b&w's

When you want to add some pop to a black and white photograph, you can splash some color on it. This technique was rampant in TV commercials awhile ago, but it reached its zenith in the movie Sin City, based on the Frank Miller graphic novellinks of the same name. While the effect can be obtained with some sweat equity in a photo editing application like Photoshop, it can be done fairly easily in a program called Color Select Studio ($19.95). Once you start playing with this software, you'll find it difficult to stop.
