Do you remember way back when you were a kid, that occasionally in magazines you'd have a "WOW 3D IMAGE" thing, made viewable by wearing some tacky red and green glasses? It was always pretty lame when the effect actually came off….mainly because of the lack of colours!
Thankfully technology has advanced allowing people to; you guessed it, see colours in the images.
However, unless you were a master of photoshop and various camera techniques, it's never really been possible to make your own 3D images; until now.
Fujifilm are demonstrating a 3D camera with 2 lenses, as shown above. It takes 2 photos, merges them together, does some trickery, and makes them look all 3 dimensional. It comes with an expensive 3D capable LCD, which I still don't really understand, but it's cool regardless.
